To clean out "Gum Infection": Ayurvedic oil pulling
Each morning before eating or drinking :
* 1 TBSP Coconut oil
* After flossed & brushed
* Swish vigorously for 5 minutes
* Avoid swallowing the contaminated oil
* Don't spit into the sink or toilet because the coconut oil may solidify & clog drains
Coconut oil is antibacterial, antifungal, & antiviral. Oil pulls out and traps infection & bacteria from under the gum tissue as well as prevents stain build up as well. Ayurvedic oil pulling has been used for centuries to preserve oral health in India.
Alternative to Fluoride: 100% Xylitol products
Bacteria is responsible for cavities on your teeth, but Xylitol has been found effective for fighting bacteria, including that causing oral, nasal, or ear infections, and this sweetener is also available in many products, not just Xylitol gum. A miracle sugar called Xylitol's benefits are:
1) Cavities 2) Plaque formation 3) Inflammation of the gums 4) Ear infections 5) Sinus infection (“XClear” nasal spray) 6) Keep breath fresh & clean 7) Deadly to dogs!!
Best time for use of chewing gums or mints are after meals & snacks. Make favorite beverages for kids but start with small amount then increase for it could cause an upset stomach.
To stop: Bleeding Gums & Bad breath
Make the mixture:
* 1 TBSP Baking soda
* 1 tsp Hydrogen peroxide
* Sprinkle of salt
Use this mixture of paste only 3x per week (must!), however:
* In severely infected gums: use mixture as rinse only for first few days then use in brushing
* It's normal to have white spots appear..Ex:when cleaning infected wounds on your hand but not on healthy skin/gums.
* In brushing, When cleaning slimy mud off your hand..use soft brush/gentle circular/massaging motion for less damage
* This mixture also has added benefits "whiter teeth" "cleaner teeth" "alkaline Ph"
This mixture is very, very effective at killing the bacteria and parasites that cause inflammation that leads to severe gum infection which results in bad breath .
For Healthy Gums: Dry Brush
* Brushing teeth without toothpaste
* More effective plaque remover .
* Use a soft, dry brush is better than a moistened one
* If bristles feel stiff, run your thumb through them before brushing
The best time to do this is while you are watching TV. Remember, you are massaging your gums in gentle circular motion for 5 minutes in sequence always so you don't miss any areas.
Relieving Mouth Irritation: canker/cold sores and others
Hydrogen Peroxide rinse is a mild antiseptic used in the mouth to help relieve minor mouth irritation (e.g., due to canker/cold sores, gingivitis, dentures, orthodontic appliances). It works by releasing oxygen when it is applied to the affected area. The release of oxygen causes foaming, which helps to remove mucus and clean the area.
Direction:
* Allow to remain in place for at least 1 minute, then spit out. Do not swallow this product.
* Use up to 4 times daily or as directed.
